The
Hospedería "The Convent", is a lodging of
rural tourism, where the time it seems that it has not passed;
it is located in the population of Estremera, small municipality
of 1,200 inhabitants, is located in the Southeastern end of
the Community of Madrid, within the Region of Fertile valleys,
halfway between "the Barren plateau" and "the
Spot", in whose surroundings the waters of the Edge are
descried for the first time within this Community. The chopos
and the coolness of the fertile valley will accompany the
course from the river to their passage by their term, surrounded
by olive trees, almonds tree and seeding, where the austerity
of the landscape gives to that privacy and tranquillity to
the body and the spirit who as much we looked for when we
left our daily life.

The
Hospedería "The Convent", is fruit of
the rehabilitation of the old convent of Estremera (1903-1957),
house yielded by Doña Carmen Camacho and their
daughter Doña Soledad Sources to the Religious
Daughters of Christ King, for, among other aims, was in
charge of education in the town. She locates herself,
then, in the old helmet of the town, next to the seat
of the City council and the Church. The proprietor has
tried to give a rustic and sober air him, trying to maintain
the construction monumental of the building, simultaneously
that cosy and warm, that yes, with all the equipment and
the last comforts that require the times in which we lived.
